While most cookbooks feature specialized fare for rare occasions, or worse yet, optional recipes for unique occasions, these recipes provide clear guidance for the unequipped future-chef. Coffee is important and it should be high quality. There's some granola for breakfast (or maybe brunch). There's cake and cookies for dessert (perhaps for the same meal). There's a few fish recipes (I'm not qualified to comment on those). Though there's also several soups, a beets recipe, brussels sprouts, mung bean dahl, banana curry, and a fancy glossary for those who are still learning about vegetables.
