Cycling is Molly Hurford's passion and writing is her life. In addition to freelance writing and editing, she is the author of Saddle, Sore: A Women-Only Guide to You and Your Bike and Mud, Snow and Cyclocross (Deeds Publishing, 2012). She is a Level 3 coach with USA Cycling, focusing on junior women development. Before coming on with Bicycling as a ‘writer at large,’ I was an editor at Cyclocross Magazine for three years where she wrote, edited, and managed the print and online magazines. Her articles have appeared in Triathlete, Bicycling, Dirt Rag, and a number of women’s publications.
