Jory John is an author of books for children and adults, as well as a sometimes writer for the New York Times, the San Francisco Chronicle, McSweeney's, the Believer, Buzzfeed, and The Best American Nonrequired Reading. He's won two E.B. White Read-Aloud Honors for his work and is currently creating two new picture books. John also worked as programs director for 826 Valencia, a nonprofit educational writing center founded by Dave Eggers in San Francisco's Mission District.
